The best Baltimore festival whose spirit has not been extinguished by too much commercial involvement. And so the prices are still just right: a buck to paint a little clay man or kiss a big white one; but for a quarter you get to take your photo with a punk. Now that, my friend, is money well spent.

No wonder my 2 year old loved the idea of sinking into paint up to her chin in hopes to have some paint also transferred onto one of the clay figures you could pick for a dollar a piece. Not so obvious, but so much the more admirable was the dude hunching over his masterpiece for hours . . .
